Responsibilities include, but are not limited to-Assist the Associate Dean in developing and implementing strategic initiatives for undergraduate student retention and student success. Help guide programs in areas of academic excellence, improvement, and engagement-Develop and lead the implementation of teaching-related programs for faculty to enhance Spears teaching innovation and effectiveness. Work with Associate Dean and campus partners to develop series in teaching pedagogy and innovation, to help improve teaching assessment processes, and to promote teaching technology initiatives-Work with campus partners and serve on teaching-focused college/university committees as appropriate (e.g, General Education Advisory Council, Student Readmission, Academic Integrity, Honors College, etc.) Identify and work with faculty to serve as appropriate-Lead efforts to support and strengthen Spears Business student organizations. Serve as an advisor to the Business Student Council-Collaborate with the Associate Dean and faculty to build programs for undergraduate academic and professional development (e.g, Alumni-Faculty Partnership, business case competition).
