I work for Softcat, a leading IT infrastructure provider, and a FTSE 250 listed company. We’re passionate about outstanding employee satisfaction and world-class customer service - both of which inspire our flexible, friendly approach to business.As Softcat\'s Head of Procurement, it is my responsibility to manage a team of people who liaise with all levels of the business and our partners, to ensure that we have the right business practices to create the highest level of efficiency possible. My role is key so that Softcat can maximise their profit, through effective processes, and creating strategies in line with the business objectives. Prior to joining Softcat in as their Purchasing Manager, I worked in Distribution for 5 years. Both of these roles provided the insight, skills and knowledge to become an Operations Manager following my maternity leave in 2006.
