   Lead all Communications efforts for MLS’ professional development league since its launch in March 2022, as well as lead league’s brand awareness endeavors; ideate and implement unique ideas, bringing new initiatives to life from concept to execution; key member of league’s crisis management team;* Advise league’s senior executive team, providing valued expertise and trusted guidance; coordinate and all media opportunities and speaking engagements for executives, including crafting all messaging and writing speeches;* Work hand-in-hand with league Content group to help oversee Social Media group in their coverage and promotion of the league and member clubs; lead how league is branded and marketed through owned and operated channels;* Actively develop relationships with national media members in order to pitch league and club storylines, with the intention of growing the new league’s national profile, as well as that of its member clubs;* Plan all league events such as MLS NEXT Pro Cup and special competitions at the MLS All-Star Game; also collaborate with new ownership groups to lead the planning and execution of press conferences and launch events in new markets to announce league expansion; manage national and local media coverage of expansion announcements, focused on raising the visibility of the league and its growth;* Collaborate with all levels of individuals at 29 member clubs, from ownership and top executives to Communications staff and coaches; have successfully on-boarded nine clubs as the league has grown since the first season;* Active role on “Women at MLS” Employee Resource Group leadership team, working to provide growth, engagement and networking opportunities for our more than 100 members across the MLS enterprise;* Named to PR News’ 2024 “Top Women in PR,” one of only a few honorees from the sports industry;
