About Sarah Immerman
As a clinical psychologist, my training has focused in utilizing evidence-based interventions for children, adolescents, and families. I am passionate about implementing adherent dialectical behavior therapy (DBT) with adolescents and young adults who struggle with impulsive behavior, self harm, and suicidal ideation. As a DBT-Linehan Board of Certification, Certified Clinician™, I am committed to providing adherent DBT. In addition to DBT, I am certified in trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT), parent-child interaction therapy (PCIT), and have been trained to implement the Chicago Parent Program (CPP), exposure and response prevention (ExRP), and comprehensive behavioral intervention for tics (CBIT).
