Responsible for overseeing a national claims team of 23 adjusters dedicated to our Global Corporate & Specialty business-Oversight with regard to end to end handling of Auto BI, CGL, PD liability, and E&O claims-Possess licences for both New Brunswick and Newfoundland claims handling and supervision-Liaise with brokers, clients, underwriters and the Commercial Claims Relationship team -Assist in the creation of Special Handling Agreements-Attend client and broker meetings as required-Review, create and analyse monthly financial reports for upper management and for staff usage-Provide training and coaching to staff members-Collaborate with mainstream Casualty group as well as GCS Auto, Property, Lifestyle & Leisure and Ovation teams-Assist VP as required regarding Corporate Compliance matters and greater team management issues-Act as a Program Advisory Committee (PAC) member and liaison with Centennial College for their Insurance Management Program and assist with field placement- Since January 2024, responsibilities have been extended to include oversight and performance management meetings for 8 of our MGA partners, including elements of contract review and revision.
