Develops and maintains strong relationships with clients and carriers to ensure high satisfaction levels. • Serves as a liaison between the clients, carriers and CBSA (Canadian Border Service Agency).• Coordinates internal Livingston departments and all required external parties (clients, CBSA, carriers etc.) to ensure successful and timely release, facilitated logistics and delivery of goods to clients. • Creates and proactively maintains client tariff database, ensuring all associated system maintenance, files/information, associated vendors and keywords are accurate and current in order to adhere to customs and brokerage regulations.• Executes accounting and rating (calculation of duties, taxes, freight fees, brokerage fees, etc.) for each client transaction in an accurate and timely manner.• Performs internet research regarding new trade products/goods to ensure they are declared with the correct Harmonized System Code.• Assists manager in compiling and reporting all performance measurement statistics.• Receives consistent positive client feedback regarding fast, efficient and thorough communication, and execution/completion of their requests.• Identifies opportunities to improve service delivery, operational productivity and relationships within North American Brokerage operations.
