About Sarah Gonder
Did someone say decarbonization? Why, hello there! After 24 months of internship and 24 months in research, I recently graduated from Materials Science and Engineering at McMaster. My passion is empowering renewable technologies and carving forward a sustainable and equitable future. As a \'21/\'22 AIST scholar having worked on climate change consulting at Hatch Ltd, I\'ve led global projects helping clients implement carbon abatement technologies and decarbonize their business portfolios. At Tesla, I worked to increase performance, safety, accessibility of energy storage through Li-ion cell engineering. Today, I co-lead research and advocacy to increase climate change education in engineering at CFES, and organize for sustainable transport through McMaster Students for Bike Share.
