I\'m a passionate advocate, relationship builder, and lifelong learner committed to making a difference—both in my community and in the lives of those I serve. As the founder of 5 for Me and host of the 5 for Me Podcast, I dedicate myself to empowering leaders to elevate others and lead with purpose. My work—whether in front of the microphone or across the boardroom table—centers around the five principles I believe define truly great leadership: Align, Connect, Trust, Accountability, and Impact. For 25 years, I\'ve had the privilege of serving at Benco, a nonprofit that provides whole life services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Over the last decade, as Executive Director, I\'ve led teams that deliver everything from advanced medical supports to intervention for complex behaviors—always with a focus on dignity, equality, and compassion. I\'ve stood by people in their darkest hours and celebrated in their most joyful milestones, believing every moment is a chance to make a positive impact. My personal core values—loyalty, compassion, and respect—guide me daily. The belief that “what\'s right is right no matter how many people are doing the wrong thing” motivates me to take action, advocate for equity in healthcare, and champion fair compensation for essential staff. My service on the GSRM Ethics Committee, POLST Coalition, and DD Coalition deepens my commitment to ethical, person-centered care and to amplifying voices that are too often overlooked. Beyond my professional life, I am a loving wife to a dedicated law enforcement officer—24 years and counting—and a proud mom to two exceptional and active young adults. I strive to leave a joy-filled, lasting impression on everyone I meet, cherishing the relationships and community that have shaped my journey. Above all, I believe that every human has great worth and that igniting belief in others is the spark that creates real, lasting change.
