ABOUT SARAH FLEMING

I’m a creative learning designer at CABI, an international not-for-profit. I focus on making online learning clear, accessible, and genuinely useful. I’ve worked across education, publishing, corporate and international development sectors, and hold a master’s degree in Education and Technology from UCL.In my role, I work with a global team to design and deliver online courses about sustainable agricultural practices, putting relevant and engaging scientific information into the hands of practitioners. I use a range of digital learning principles to build active learning experiences, especially for learners in low-resource settings. I\'m especially interested in how pedagogy can be enhanced in the age of AI, and in investigating the effective application of AI-driven tools in an educational setting.Alongside my learning design work, I lead business development activities for the digital learning team, looking at approaches to make the learning platform sustainable. That includes spotting new opportunities, building partnerships, and exploring funding and revenue models.
