ABOUT SARAH FITZPATRICK
I currently work as a Formulation Chemist at Enkos Developments Ltd, after graduating with a Masters in Chemistry from the University of Oxford. I work in an R&D lab designing bespoke formulations for clients, and am interested in sustainable approaches to product development. Prior to this job I was completing my MChem in Oxford, with my Master’s year under the supervision of Professor Fraser Armstrong FRS. Work from this thesis was published in the following paper: Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.(2019), 58, 4948–4952 – Electrocatalytic Volleyball: Rapid Nanoconfined Nicotinamide Cycling for Organic Synthesis in Electrode PoresThis was featured as a ‘hot paper’ in Angewandte Chemie, and was nominated for the front cover of this journal. It was then highlighted in Nature in a 2-page News and Views article dedicated to our paper: Nature (2019), 567, 317-318 - Enzymes trapped and zapped for use outside cells
