About Sarah Eshleman

From teaching college writing courses to working in a marketing office to leading two award-winning quarterly magazines, I\'ve spent the last 16 years learning what makes people lean in and listen. Most recently, as editor in chief of Answers magazine and Kids Answers magazine, I oversaw every point of publication—from developing publication calendars and curating content to helping my editorial team shape messaging through developmental editing and copyediting. I managed production timelines, wrote columns and articles, and ensured adherence to The Chicago Manual of Style and consistency with the organization’s tone. I also collaborated with the social media and web manager to repurpose print content for online audiences. In short, I owned the process from start to finish.Throughout my career, I’ve edited blogs, presentations, poetry, fiction, books, and articles, working closely with designers, marketers, freelancers, and leadership teams. I excel in environments that balance high editorial standards with cross-departmental collaboration. Whether helping authors navigate sensitive topics or ensuring that a feature aligns with organizational messaging, I bring both strategic vision and precise attention to detail.
