Starting my professional career in a smaller company was nothing like I expected, yet everything I had been yearning for at the time. I needed something new and different, and this was the perfect opportunity. Management was quick to notice my need for new challenges and threw anything and everything at me that they could. I have had the opportunity to build and work on teams with people from every department and can easily say without a doubt that I have learned something new each day. Having said that, I quickly gained the knowledge in every department to fill in when needed, even if it meant sacrificing my personal time to support every team in achieving our goals.When I am not working hard in the office, I love being outside; whether it be walking, kayaking, or gardening, the outdoors is where I find my peace. My recent hobby has been propagating plants to begin new life which is a wonderfully unexplainable feeling. It is extremely rewarding to see something start off as a tiny, insignificant leaf only to become a strong, beautiful plant. This hobby of mine is reflective of my strongest value - supporting the growth of others. Work is no different. Supportive leadership and team members is vital to success, and I am proud to say I have been and will continue to be a part of that.
