Work collaboratively as a member of the interdisciplinary team to meet the social and emotional needs of students. • Provide assessment and counseling services to students as outlined in their individual educational plan (IEP), as well as regular education students as needed and/or requested.• Facilitate psycho-educational and social skills groups. Provide crisis intervention.• Evaluate and assess student behavior and their emotional needs based on clinical observation.• Provide mental health consultation and training to teachers and administrators.• Collaborate and communicate with the families of students to inform them of the community resources that are available and may be beneficial. Assist families with the referral process. • Develop Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA’s) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP’s).
