Sarah Denis focuses her practice on commercial and corporate litigation, real estate, lender/creditor representation, contracts and general business consulting, and bankruptcy and restructuring matters. Sarah is a Fund member and Old Republic National Title Insurance Company agent.Sarah also represents institutional lenders and borrowers in connection with the financing of real estate including mortgage loans and other financing transactions, including, but not limited to, loan workouts, restructurings, and loan sales and landlords in the leasing of commercial real estate and any ensuing disputes thereto.She has several years of litigation and transactional experience, securing favorable results for her clients including various final judgments in favor of institutional clients as well as commercial landlords.Sarah received her J.D, cum laude, from the University of Miami School of Law and B.S. from Florida International University. While in law school, she served as an intern to the Honorable Vice Chancellor Montgomery-Reeves of the Delaware Court of Chancery and to the Honorable Frank Shepherd of the Third District Court of Appeal in Florida.Publications: While in law school, her article “Using the Class Action Fairness Act as a Loophole Around the Magnuson Moss’s Jurisdictional Requirements\" was published in the National Law Review as the winner of the Fall 2015 National Law Review Student Writing Competition (winning articles are published alongside those written by respected attorneys from Am Law 200 and other prominent firms, as well as from other respected professional associations), and was reprinted in the Journal of Consumer and Commercial Law (University of Houston Law Center), the official publication of the State Bar of Texas.
