I’m a relationship-driven nonprofit professional with 25 years of experience generating revenue through partnerships, events, marketing, and fundraising. For the past five years, I’ve focused on development work - leading strategic fundraising efforts, building infrastructure from the ground up, and helping mission-driven organizations grow their impact.Currently, I serve as Development Director at Joyful Readers, where I’ve built the organization’s first comprehensive fundraising program and increased private revenue by 124% in just one year. I’ve secured six-figure grants, built out corporate sponsorship programs, launched individual giving campaigns, and led major events all while strengthening Board engagement and contributing to cross-functional strategic planning.Before moving into nonprofit development, I founded and scaled a national recreational sports business with leagues in 14 cities, annual players, and $550K in recurring revenue. At the helm, I led all marketing and corporate development initiatives, generating sponsorship revenue in every market while managing a team of three direct reports.
