With nearly 30 years’ experience at the BBC, I have built a broad and trusted career across radio and television in a range of production and editorial roles. Alongside my substantive post as a Radio Content Assistant, I have extensive experience as a researcher and have also worked as a radio producer on religious programming for Radio Wales and Radio 4, shaping thoughtful, engaging content and handling sensitive subject matter with care.I am known for my calm, reliable approach under pressure and for being highly organised and solutions-focused in fast-paced environments. I contribute positively to team culture, with a strong, values-led approach centred on care, integrity and respect. Supporting others has been a consistent thread throughout my career — from mentoring and encouraging colleagues, particularly those at earlier stages in their careers, to helping contributors feel confident sharing their stories.Alongside my professional work, I am actively involved in my church and local community, including charity fundraising and supporting my son’s rugby team. I am currently training as a life and career coach, building on my experience in mentoring and my interest in supporting people through change and transition. I am motivated by opportunities to combine my editorial experience with a strong commitment to people, purpose and development.
