About Sarah Cinq

I have worked in data science since 2018 on multiple teams as well as industries. The most valuable advice I’ve picked up is to accept every opportunity to learn a new skill even if it doesn’t fit your expectations of what a “data scientist” should do. Through these opportunities, I’ve had the chance to learn how to develop my functional programming skills, design APIs, improve my leadership skills through managing database deployments, and so much more. These skills have all contributed to providing valuable analytic insights to my organization and creating better outcomes for healthcare members.My current role uses R and SQL to improve healthcare member experience through identifying the right members at the right time for outreach. Writing efficient and interpretable code is important, as well as being able to explain analytic insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
