Back end software engineer on the CAD Supportability Team. Works on fixing bugs and continuous improvements to the core functionality of the CAD product as well as implementing feature requests from clients. Implemented an API to accept phone call data and return a payload that includes RapidSOS location data from 911 calls for our dispatch app. Worked on a new feature that allows users to generate multiple Reporting Event Numbers per Agency Event, refactoring existing code to allow for multiple, creating version 2 APIs and methods, and adding unit tests all while working alongside front end engineers and designers to see this project through.
