The Red Ants Pants Music Festival was founded in 2011. It is designed to bring people together and raise funds for the Red Ants Pants Foundation. Our non-profit is in support of women’s leadership, working family farms and ranches, and rural communities. We use proceeds from the festival to fund our grant cycle and run our timber skills and women’s leadership events.The festival was founded and is produced by Red Ants Pants owner Sarah Calhoun. Yes, a little Made in the USA pants company started a music festival. Not the usual path for small business, but why not?This festival is 100% home grown and run by an incredibly dedicated crew of hard working staff. We are joined every July by dozens of friends and family that round out our 75 strong festival staff. Throw in 250 festival volunteers and this makes for a lot of hard work to pull off a pretty fantastic celebration.
