ABOUT SARAH CAIRNS

I am an eCommerce Senior Director with 10+ years experience giving great website experiences to customers. I focus on delivering key outcomes, cultivating & coaching talented teams and underpinning business decisions with data & insight. I\'ve enjoyed a variety of roles in the eCommerce space, across digital transformation, content strategy, merchandising, product management, strategy & strategic programme management. These roles have helped me build my leadership style and skillset:I love breaking down business problems and defining a path for change- Strategic change and transformation can\'t be just words on a page, it needs to be embedded in every part of your organisation and every choice you make- Success is not linear, figuring out what hasn\'t worked and making a change is core to forward momentum- I speak both tech and exec, breaking down complex issues into clear communicationMy main role as a leader is getting obstacles out of the way for my team- My colleagues are experts in their area, being clear on strategic direction enables them to act and make decisions quickly and efficiently- My favourite phrase is \"what needs to be true to achieve this\"- Supporting colleagues on their personal development journey is really important to meI enjoy finding out about new things and investing in my own learning.
