About Sarah Boughan

I graduated from Syracuse University with a Bachelor\'s of Science degree in Political Science and Communication and Rhetorical Studies, which gave me a solid foundation in written communication, critical thinking, and persuasion skills. I am currently the Manager of Sales Development at SmartBear, a leading provider of software development, testing, and quality tools. I lead a team of sales development representatives who generate and qualify leads, book meetings, and create pipeline opportunities for the account executives.In my previous roles as an Account Executive and a Business Solutions Advisor at SmartBear, I worked with companies to facilitate software test coverage, quality, and speed throughout the API Lifecycle with tools like ReadyAPI, SwaggerHub, and Pactflow. I built and maintained strong client relationships, delivered customized solutions, and closed deals that resulted in increased revenue and customer satisfaction. I am passionate about helping customers achieve their software quality goals and improving their development processes. I bring diverse perspectives and experiences to the team, as I have also worked as a bartender and an intern for Senator Charles Schumer, where I learned to adapt to different situations, communicate effectively, and collaborate with others.
