ABOUT SARAH MCGEE
With more than 20 years of experience in policy, government affairs, and public-sector healthcare, I have built a career focused on advancing sustainable funding, regulatory alignment, and evidence-based solutions that improve outcomes for communities.I most recently served as Chief Policy & Government Affairs Officer at the National Service Office for Nurse-Family Partnership and Child First (recently re-branded as Changent), where I led federal and state strategies across Medicaid, TANF, and the federal MIECHV program. In that role, I partnered closely with bipartisan policymakers, state agencies, and provider organizations to translate complex policy into operationally viable models implemented across diverse healthcare and social-service systems. That work required not only policy leadership, but a practical understanding of compliance, accountability, and performance measurement in highly regulated environments. Over time, my focus increasingly centered on how policy decisions are executed in practice—through documentation standards, quality frameworks, data integrity, and governance structures that support both oversight and service delivery.I currently serve as Director of Quality Improvement & Compliance at Community Health Alliance, a multi-site Federally Qualified Health Center, where I apply this experience at the organizational level, supporting quality, compliance, and continuous improvement in partnership with clinical, operational, and administrative teams.Across roles, I am motivated by work that strengthens systems, supports frontline teams, and ensures regulatory and funding requirements ultimately serve patients and communities.
