ABOUT SARAH BASTIEN
I\'ve performed a human and social science PhD (Information and Communication Sciences) with a strong interest for cooking practices in everyday life. I have two approaches: • one in anthropological perspective to understand behaviour, motivations, barriers and needs for cooking in this particular context • and one in communication for providing the right message at the right moment. In the digital world, practices evolve, and three entities are implicated: product, service and user. In this perspective I\'m convinced by centre user approach in the innovation process in the domestic area. The aim of my PhD was to propose dynamic cooking profiles and outperform static individual categories. I am dedicated to explore the added value of qualitative and communication science to create tools for innovation, especially in digital area. Diverse and multi-disciplinary teams inspire me. Specialities: communication, human and social sciences, digital, cooking, real-life context, qualitative and quantitative research, applied research, innovation.
