About Sarah Bamba
I am an honors student at the University of Maryland, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Information Science with the goal of becoming a data scientist. I have been fortunate to receive the Banneker/Key Scholarship, the Montgomery County Alliance of Black School Educators Scholarship, and the Ruth and Norman Rales - Patricia Baier O\'Neill Scholarship. I am also multilingual, having earned the Maryland Seal of Biliteracy for my fluency in English, Spanish, and French. Beyond academics, I am the Founder and President of The Lamin Organization, a nonprofit dedicated to expanding access to assistive devices for individuals with disabilities. I also serve as the Internal Communications Chair for Women in Cybersecurity (WiCyS) at UMD, where I work to build community and foster connections among women interested in cybersecurity.
