While studying at JSU, I was a member of Beta Alpha Psi International Honor Society for Accounting and served as Chapter President and Treasurer of my sorority, Alpha Omicron Pi.Throughout my time in undergrad and during my first few years of working full-time, I have discovered the importance of kindness, hard work, effective communication, and a positive outlook. I love the quote above by Helen Keller - it captures the essence of what I believe to be the cornerstone to success: positivity. Failure is a component of success, and every successful person has experienced failure. However, what makes a person successful is how she chooses to react to failure. It is impossible to become stagnant if one is always looking forward.
