As part of the Development team, I help steward and cultivate unique partnerships between Denver Scholarship Foundation and local, national, and global companies. I support the organization in achieving our mission of making college possible for Denver Public Schools\' students by developing and coordinating opportunities for students and corporate partners to engage in professional and career development programming. In addition to other events and engagements, I manage a series of career exposure events throughout the academic year. This includes career panels, speed-mentoring, and Scholar visits to corporate offices for students to explore and grow their network, while also providing opportunities for employees of corporate partners to give back to their community. My role has expanded to include the volunteer management for DSF\'s FAFSA/CASFA workshops, an essential wide-reaching part of our organization\'s support to DPS students and families.
