About Sara Golakova
I am a dedicated young professional currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Economics, with minors in Mathematics and History, at Vassar College. I am an international student from Macedonia and the first Macedonian at Vassar.My curiosity and commitment to my intellectual pursuits brought me to the United States with an ambition to make an impact that supports communities. With a strong academic background spanning across multiple disciplines, I am particularly passionate about the intersection of economics, finance, and law. I enjoy problem solving, writing, and, most importantly, supporting the people around me. Outside of academics, I am heavily involved with the Office of International Services at Vassar and the First-Gen Low-Income (FLI) community at Vassar, where I currently maintain a position of Peer Mentor.
