About Sarafina Madden
I am currently an undergraduate student at Hamilton College pursuing degrees in History and Economics. At Hamilton, I serve as the co-editor of the Features section of the College’s paper, intern for Hamilton\'s Common Ground program and tutor students in public speaking at the Oral Communication Center. Last summer, I worked as a research assistant on History Professor Mackenzie Cooley’s Historical Pharmacoepias research project. As an RA, I served as a steward of an immense online database that houses thousands of manuscripts and documents from European pharmacies in the pre modern era. This summer, I am working at FactSet, a fintech company where I have been able to delve more deeply int my interest in economics and work closely with the leading market data provi Outside of work, I enjoy reading, running and playing on Hamilton College\'s women\'s rugby team where I have met some of my greatest college friends. As I approach my graduation from Hamilton, I look forward to pursuing a career where I can use economic intuition, historical knowledge, and an eye for statistical soundness to improve the lives of others.
