Now part of the RSE Group, it delivers turnkey automation solutions for industries like water, rail, and energy. As Test Engineer, I\'m responsible for:* Execute comprehensive validation of LV control panels (MCCs, LVAC) in alignment with customer-specific control philosophies, RSE (Blackburn Starling) standards, and UK regulations (BS 7671, ENA Engineering Recommendations), ensuring design integrity and operational safety.* Perform functional testing, primary/secondary current injection, and wiring modifications to verify protection schemes, instrumentation accuracy, and fail-safe operations.* Develop governance documentation including IFAT/CFAT test plans, non-conformance reports (NCRs), as-built drawings, and RAMS, ensuring full QA/QC traceability and UKCA compliance.* Troubleshoot control logic and wiring inconsistencies through in-depth schematic analysis, reducing rework cycles and improving fault detection.* Collaborate with project and design engineers to align testing with delivery schedules and customer milestones.Key Clients & Projects:1. Severn Trent/MWH Treatment – Motor Control Panels with ICA sections incorporating PLC and ABB variable speed drives for water treatment operations.2. Scottish Power/United Utilities – LV switchgear panels for power distribution with strict adherence to safety and regulatory compliance.
