We focus on expanding access to secondary and university education, supporting literacy and economic opportunity, and investing in projects that strengthen and sustain local communities. Our mission is to help children and families build brighter futures and to create lasting, community-led change.

ABOUT SARA CONZEMIUS KITI
Sara was one half of the spark that created ILLUME Advising, LLC, a nationally recognized energy and social science consultancy. Together with co-founder Anne Dougherty, she built ILLUME into an award-winning firm known for marrying program design and implementation expertise with deep behavioral research and evaluation insight — delivering inspired, forward-thinking consulting at the rare intersection of insight and execution.Following ILLUME’s acquisition, Sara continues to focus on advancing the energy industry. Beyond her work in the energy sector, Sara serves as Executive Director of the Japhet Family Foundation, a family-led nonprofit creating generational change in Kenya through education and community development. The foundation provides scholarships for secondary and university students, supports literacy and economic development initiatives, and invests in projects that build sustainable opportunity. She is also the owner of CQE Enterprises, with her husband Catul Kiti, a small scale farming group also in Kenya. Sara has dedicated her career to advancing the fields of energy efficiency and supporting the educational needs of children everywhere.
