About Sara Terry

I started my career in corporate consulting. It was there that I learned to jump in quickly, filter through complex information, draw out insights, and present ideas in a way that drives decision-making. These are still my favorite skills to use. I look for and love opportunities to define strategies and solutions that go beyond my silo, working cross-functionally to make an organization more effective or a mission more impactful.I transitioned to the nonprofit sector to dedicate my skills to causes I believe in. I have experience in nearly every area of fundraising, with the bulk of my work in grant writing and expansion campaigns. Over the course of my career, I have led efforts to raise more than $25 million. I enjoy engaging with funders as partners, seeking to find alignment between their funding goals and the missions I champion.
