As Head of Open Access at the RSC, I\'m responsible for driving the development and implementation of the RSC\'s Open Access strategy. This involves the development and uptake of new OA business models, positioning the RSC as a thought leader in Open Access, and managing the teams that oversee the current portfolio of OA journals and leading the launch of all of our new OA journals. I represent the our journals publishing business as a member of all relevant internal governance committees, including the RSC Publishing Board.I manage a growing Open Access team of over 50 staff based in the UK, Germany, US, Brazil and China and am jointly responsible, with our Head of Journals, for over-seeing our journals department of 200+ staff.
