CRHS supports students who cannot attend mainstream schools due to their physical or mental health concerns, or because they are in secure care or youth justice facilities. As deputy Presiding Member, my role is to collaborate with the principal, trustees and wider community to deliver strategic leadership and guidance to the school. We are focused on ensuring all students achieve their best possible outcomes, with particular attention to Māori learners. I was appointed to the role because of my experience in enabling system improvement for disabled and neurodiverse learners in the tertiary sector, alongside my community governance and partnership experience.
