About Sara Turner
As a skilled cross-functional collaborator, I work closely with Engineering, Architecture, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, and R&D teams to drive sustainability through product design, material selection, facility operations, and corporate strategy. My keen interest in circularity is reflected in my experience with Design for Reuse, circular business models, and leading zero waste certifications. I am also well-versed in corporate sustainability, including carbon accounting best practices, supply chain and scope 3 analysis, SBTi methodology, and reporting standards.Through previous roles, I’ve enjoyed acting as a Sustainability Manager, Project Manager, Energy Modeller, Sustainability Consultant, and Building Science Engineer. I studied Environmental Engineering at the University of Waterloo, where my passion for intersectional sustainability was fueled by my experience leading innovative sustainable housing projects in partnership with Canadian Indigenous communities and Habitat for Humanity.
