About Sara Tracey
I’m a fourth-year Sports Management student at the University of Georgia with a strong interest in sports media, broadcasting, and live event production. Currently, I work with SEC Network UGA (DawgVision), gaining hands-on experience across multiple roles during live broadcasts for various UGA athletic events.As a former softball player and lifelong sports fan, I’ve always been passionate about storytelling in sports. My goal is to become a sideline reporter, using my communication skills and on-camera presence to bring energy and insight to game coverage. I’ve worked live events with the Atlanta Braves and MLB All-Star Week, and I’ve supported digital content and marketing efforts for both radio and media companies.I am also conversational in Spanish and currently pursuing a minor, which I plan to use to connect with Spanish-speaking athletes and expand the reach of my reporting.Outside the broadcast booth, I’ve trained for and competed in philanthropic events, studied international sports business in Spain, and taken on leadership roles in my sorority. I’m known for being organized, reliable, and driven — balancing school, work, and extracurriculars with focus and enthusiasm.I’m always eager to grow professionally and connect with others in the industry.
