   Sara’s design practice is focused on community revitalization and sustainable site design. She develops creative solutions that respond to the historical, cultural, and environmental context of each particular community or site while incorporating sound planning and design principles and sustainable site solutions. Sara has worked on a wide range of scales and project types, including park planning and design, community planning, trail design, sustainable site design, green infrastructure, school campus planning and design, play space design, streetscape design, bicycle and pedestrian planning and design, green roofs, and urban design. Sara has established Pashek + MTR as a leader in sustainability, both in our design work and our daily operations. Under her leadership, the firm has won the Pittsburgh Green Workplace Challenge two years in a row. She has served as a panelist and a speaker at several sustainability workshops.
