As the Head of Regulatory Interpretations at Wells Fargo, I lead a team that provides strategic guidance on the application of complex banking regulations, ensuring consistent and well-reasoned interpretations across the organization. My team also drives regulatory advocacy on proposed rules, working closely with industry groups to shape policy outcomes and support well-informed, data-driven positions.Before this, I spent ten years at the Federal Reserve Board’s Division of Supervision & Regulation, where I led working groups shaping both domestic rulemakings and international Basel policy frameworks. My work focused on Basel market risk capital (FRTB), counterparty credit risk (SA-CCR), and related reforms, collaborating across central banks, U.S. agencies, and internal Fed teams. I also briefed senior Federal Reserve leadership, including the Vice Chair for Supervision, on the capital and policy impacts of proposed rules.Earlier in my career at Freddie Mac, I combined financial and technical expertise to build analytical tools and models for the Multifamily Capital Markets group.I’m passionate about translating complex regulatory concepts into clear, actionable guidance- and fostering collaboration between policy, risk, and business perspectives to achieve thoughtful, effective outcomes.
