At SEAL, I lead with a deep commitment to equity-driven, language-rich instruction for multilingual learners. As a Lead Trainer and literacy content designer, I develop and deliver professional learning experiences that bridge research and practice, empowering teachers and coaches across California.My work includes:Designing and revising SEAL’s instructional modules to align with updated research and evolving classroom needs.Leading in-person and virtual professional development for educators, with a focus on foundational literacy, genre-based instruction, and integrated language functions.Creating and refining tools and resources, such as teacher-facing materials, asynchronous modules, and strategic coaching supports.Piloting and improving coaching support structures, including pre/post module communications and streamlined preview sessions.Collaborating cross-functionally to support sustainability efforts, ensure clarity in communication, and align team processes.I bring a lens of intentional content design to all I do — crafting frameworks and trainings that are not only rigorous and coherent, but also immediately applicable. My goal: to make sure every student, especially multilingual learners, has access to powerful, language-rich instruction from teachers who feel confident, supported, and inspired.
