Over the past 16+ years, I have built a solid reputation as a capital project management leader who has stepped up to help bp build its offshore projects from cradle to grave.I lead multi-disciplinary project lifecycle execution from FEED up to STARTUP by developing and implementing operating strategies, optimizing business processes, and leveraging technology solutions. Coupled with multi-year experience in assessing near and long term investment decisions at single project and portfolio level, I am able to influence and align all organizational levels.My commitment to developing people’s technical prowess and soft skill potential is part of my DNA, and I lead through example to solve project challenges both in-country and remotely. I have built resilient team relationships, delivered high-risk multi-million-dollar projects, and solved critical multi-stage project issues across the US, Canada, the UK, and Trinidad & Tobago both onshore and offshore for greenfield and brownfield project scopes.In my recent work as Project Delivery Manager, I achieved 3M work‐hours LTI‐free 7,500 MT topside loaded out from Tampico, Mexico by empowering a small construction team to drive safety, quality, and progress while helping contractors identify gaps and defects.After taking on progressively larger project scopes for bp, I am now driven to upscale technologies for helping the world reach net-zero emissions. Some of my career impacts include: Building a ‘one team’ safety-first approach for 30+ direct / 50+ indirect reports for capital projects ranging from $15MM to $7B via strategic leadership and direction for Oil & Gas operations. Leading a 10-person engineering team to execute deliverables in only 5 months by working remotely with a UK‐based engineering contractor while driving alignment on whole project strategic and contract decisions. Delivering $300MM of equipment for an EPC contract across Houston project management & engineering, Mexico construction & commissioning), and Trinidad offshore integration with zero LTI. In terms of my educational and cultural background, I speak three languages (English, Italian & Spanish), and hold a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering & Computer Science, a Master\'s degree in Environmental Chemical Engineering, as well as a post-doc in Chemical Engineering from MIT.I also hold certifications from a Strategic Decisions & Risk Management Program (Stanford University) and a Corporate Finance & Risk Management course (London Business School).
