ABOUT SARA MURAWA

I’m a specialist tutor - teaching is my passion. Our team has expanded to 14 super tutors. We tutor pupils with a range of different educational challenges, those without any challenges too. Those learning differences are: dyslexia, dyspraxia, dyscalculia, ADHD,ASD, anxiety, low self esteem and low confidence. We tutor pupils from KS1-KS4, including children with educational challenges too, many have EHCP’s and some have T.A support in school. We support pupils that need a little extra help, with self esteem, self worth and confidence definitely comes before academia. We offer GCSE support for maths, Chemistry, English language and English literature, combined Sceince, physics and biology, RE, History, Film Studies, Computer Science, Art & Design. We teach A level maths, English language and English literature, Film Studies, Art & Design Our Goal : small steps, increase self esteem, and confidence. We support mature students too. Many of our tutees have been with us from the start of their school journey, from primary to secondary school to college. As well as teaching and supporting our pupils. We are here to support those pupils who struggle with; low self esteem, anxiety, confidence issues, limited focus and concentration problems. Building a child\'s self esteem both socially and educationally is paramount to how they learn and cope with challenging situations, these include the difficulties they may encounter in and out of school on a daily basis. We also support and help teenagers who struggle with organisational problems, anxiety and low self esteem, especially those find it hard to do homework, and adapting to continuous changes they encounter on their learning journey. We work together using useful reminders and calming techniques, have discussions on how they can communicate with teachers, not to be frightened of asking for help. Or in some situations helping a pupil to accept help, not seeing this as undermining their ability. We support our tutees family too, through the challenges they can encounter navigating the school system. Especially helping them applying for EHCP’s, navigating and finding the best way of securing the best support for their children. We are a team; the tutors, the tutees family, my pupils, their teachers and their school/ college and of course us. Working as ‘one’ is the best way to support a pupil.
