ABOUT SARA MAZROUEI

With over a decade of experience in higher education, I am passionate about transforming teaching and learning experiences. My journey spans college- and university-level teaching, faculty development, and curriculum design, where I\'ve dedicated myself to fostering inclusive and equitable learning environments. I have organized and led discipline-specific workshops and resources, guiding faculty through the Scholarship of Teaching and Learning. My commitment to equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) is centered in my teaching practice, evident in initiatives promoting a sense of belonging and inclusion. Additionally, I am a certified to facilitate the Instructional Skills Workshop. I\'m also a Planetary Scientist with a comprehensive academic background and body of research in earth and space studies. I have years of experience in planning and leading science research projects, and in processing and analyzing data from science instruments. I bring extensive knowledge of earth and space sciences and peer-reviewed literature and a track record of success in disseminating challenging scientific data for the benefit and enjoyment of diverse non-technical audiences. As a science communication professional, I excel in interpersonal and communication skills, driving impactful public outreach initiatives. I am privileged to be a sought-after public speaker and story producer, committed to making science accessible and engaging for all.
