   School District 145 Foundation For Education

   This Chief Executive position demands an articulate, ethical, passionate, big-picture-thinker, and I bring those qualities to the table every day. It also requires fundraising at it\'s finest to solicit donations, realize public-private partnerships, and write/administer grants. In my tenure, I\'ve initiated relationships with numerous grant funders (e.g. Nebraska Arts Council, Department of Health and Human Services) to secure funds that supplement School District 145\'s programming in the best interest of students.In 2017, a digital alumni database was established. Beyond 2017 the database has grown to include current local patrons and assets outside of the alumni community. The main outcome goal is to reconnect the School District 145 school community in celebration of past achievements and in support of current students. A secondary goal is to develop Cause Marketing relationships, or public-private partnerships, to fuel awareness of need and provide a plausible avenue for funding. The Foundation owns and operates a licensed Before/After School and Summer Care Program doing business as the Viking Discovery Program. This earned income strong arm fuels the working structure of the Foundation, and I am it\'s caretaker. Recent site improvements and collaborative enrichment opportunities with partners like the University of Nebraska-Lincoln\'s College of Agriculture have boosted interest and enrollment. Since I\'ve assumed the position of Executive Director, the Foundation has quadrupled it\'s net value all while expanding contributions to the school district.
