As an undergraduate research assistant in Dr. Marinkovic\'s lab, I conduct EEG and ERP recordings, analyzing data through MATLAB, recruit participants for the current studies, and support the team in carrying out various projects related to the spatio-temporal characteristics of neural processes that subserve a multitude of cognitive functions. Currently, I am working on our lab\'s study on the neural indices of cognitive flexibility alterations in young adult binge drinkers.

ABOUT SARA MACUMU
I recently graduated from San Diego State University with a degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Neuroscience, and will be continuing at the university in pursuit of an MA in Psychology on the Cognitive/Behavioral Neuroscience track. I have a passion for neuropsychology and neuroimaging (with a particular interest in the EEG technique) and extensive knowledge about cognitive and behavioral neuroscience, statistical methods, research, as well as several fields of psychology. Recently, I have been focused on developing my research skills and working on advancing my knowledge on data analysis and programming methods, utilizing my technical proficiency and my ability to problem solve in order to achieve these goals. In the future, I hope to work toward exploring the intersection between neural processes, behavior, and neurological disorders.
