ABOUT SARA MACANN

I am a Management Consultant at Capco, with 10 years of Financial Services experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments across a range of digital projects within tier 1 banks. I have worked across a number of roles from Project Manager and Business Analyst through to more recent roles as Product Owner. My recent experience includes Product Owner for a Customer Video project and a Chatbot implementation. Customer Video required the end-to-end management of a video conferencing capability to enable a more personal engagement with customers. For the Chatbot delivery, I oversaw the initiation of a Chatbot as part of a wider User Experience programme for the HR Function of a tier one Bank. The main deliverables of these roles included: • Managing projects from initial vendor analysis and selection through to approvals, sign-off, testing and go-live preparations• Defining scope and approach to delivery and presenting recommendations to the MDs and governance forums for approval• Managing stakeholder relationships across multiple functions and locations to align to group wide strategy• Running workshops to define requirements, ensure all stakeholders are engaged from the outset and mange relationships through to sign-off• Managing cross-functional teams consisting of Technical Analysts, UX designers and Testers to finalise the technical requirements and create the product interface for buildIn addition to my project delivery, I also lead the Global CSR programme for Capco.
