About Sara Hummell

Dr. Sara Hummell is a professor of Business and Geospatial Intelligence Programs at the University of the Potomac (UOTP).She is a lead GIS professor for the Geospatial Intelligence Programs and she teaches various business courses, oversee GIS courses, teaches, develops geospatial programs and serves as the Virginia campus liaison. She taught both Business and Geospatial Intelligence courses for 12 years in academia. Her research interest focuses on integrating Business and Geospatial Intelligence. Also, she authored/co-authored graduate, undergraduate courses, executive certificate programs, workforce development training certificate programs in Geospatial Intelligence, Spatial Business Intelligence, Executive Business Education and Business. Additional academic volunteering services- Served as a member of the university graduate council, served as a member of curriculum committee at the UOTP & currently serves as a volunteering director of Geospatial Intelligence Center of Excellence since 2018.
