Executive Director @Great North Innocence Project

Since its inception in 2001, the Great North Innocence Project has represented people who were wrongfully convicted for crimes they did not commit. We also educate the public, attorneys, law students, and criminal justice professionals on best practices, and work to reform the criminal justice system to prevent wrongful convictions and other unjust results in criminal cases.I serve as the leader of organizational strategy, finances and fund development, communications, outreach, and public relations, policy initiatives, staff and volunteer supervision, and operations. Collaboration with board and staff members, volunteers, the Innocence Network and other partners, is central to my work.
