Sara Good

About Sara Good

Sara Good\'s work primarily consists of mixed media sculpture and sculptural installation, which at times draws from a clay background, and which occupies space in a range of ways. Her installation work often employs a space-specific or site-responsive approach to space. To date, Good\'s work has been shown in 73 exhibitions, including 36 solo shows held in university spaces, museums and galleries. Along with producing studio work, her experience includes both commissioned and noncommissioned public projects, and collaborative projects produced through workshops executed with a diversity of student groups. Good received a BFA in sculpture which combined coursework from the University of Houston Clear Lake and the University of Memphis. She holds an MFA in Sculpture from the University of Memphis. To add, she has taught Drawing through Continuing Education, has served as visiting artist in the City of Memphis\' Arts in the Schools Program, and held adjunct positions teaching survey and foundation courses at the University of Memphis.(See also additional experience to follow).
