About Sara Goeking
I\'m part of the Forest Inventory and Analysis program. FIA conducts surveys that tell us about the condition of our forests, their resources, and the people who own them. My previous research experience in forest hydrology and forest monitoring demonstrates how broad-scale datasets can inform forest management decisions and research. Tech transfer work includes bilateral and multilateral coordination of national-scale forest monitoring programs within the U.S. and in other countries. Skills include mentoring, team building, effective science communication, predictive/statistical modeling, geospatial analysis, terrestrial and aquatic ecology, and data analysis. I have a Ph.D. in Watershed Science and M.S. and B.S. degrees in Forest Ecology/Plant Science.
