ABOUT SARA GANGEMI
Sara Gangemi is a landscape architect, based in Milan, and she currently works at Stefano Boeri Architetti. In 2014 she was Ph.D. in Landscape and Environment Design and Planning, at “Sapienza” - awarded cum laude. She investigated processes and practices of education, participation and empowerment in ordinary landscapes. She studied at Politecnico of Milan (M. Arch. 2005) and in Lisbon (20••••03). In 2015 she was shortlisted for YAP MAXXI 2015 - Young architects program in Rome and in 2012 for the Gold Medal Prize for Italian Architecture, 4th Edition, edited by Triennale di Milano and MiBAC. She worked as landscape architect and urban designer for LAND Italia, Franco Zagari architetti, Barreca & La Varra, Francesco Librizzi studio and Insitu.
