ABOUT SARA FAJARDO
My name is Sara Fajardo and I am a senior at Rutgers University-New Brunswick majoring in History and double minoring in Spanish and Women\'s, Gender and Sexuality Studies. I am in the School of Arts and Sciences Honors Program and, a Leadership Scholar at the Institute for Women\'s Leadership. I am currently an Events and Programming intern at the Center for American Women and Politics at the Eagleton Institute of Politics. I am passionate about civic engagement and public policy and, spent this past summer as an intern at the Office of U.S. Congresswoman Mikie Sherrill as a member of the 2025 cohort of Rutgers Scarlet Service in D.C. Post-grad, I plan to pursue a Masters degree in Education.
